Billon joins official Polish delegation to the biggest global trade fair, the Hannover Messe international trade fair April 24-28th 2017.

Poland’s Ministry of Development has named Billon (www.billongroup.com) one of three outstanding young companies whose business profile will showcase the company’s technical expertise and innovation at this year’s Hannover Messe international trade fair. Billon will exhibit in the Polish national stand along with conductive technology provider XTPL and hybrid material developer HussarTech.

Billon was chosen by the ministry as one of ten finalists of the “Start-ups in the Palace” program who presented their products and services to the Polish President Andrzej Duda, and a number of leading investors. The ceremony aimed to highlight the success Poland’s tech ecosystem has had in fostering cooperation between large companies, investors, academics and entrepreneurs to develop successful technology start-ups such as Billon. The Deputy Prime Minister, former banking CEO and FinTech specialist Mateusz Morawiecki, also attended and cited the enormous potential distributed ledger technology holds for the financial services industry.

Andrzej Horoszczak, Founder and CEO of Billon said: “Poland has one of the most advanced banking and payments infrastructures in the world, and to be recognized by this ecosystem and the government is a real honour. Billon has been working with Polish banks during most of its development, and as such we are unique in having a solution that is already regulatory compliant and accessible to the smartphone generation.”

At the Hannover Messe Billon will present a corporate payout system relying on its disruptive technology of instant payments. Billon’s e-money payouts eliminate cost and friction of pre-paid cards, checks and cash, and allow for bigger digital engagement. Users can collect payments by clicking on a link sent by an e-mail, SMS or directly in a dedicated app and then pick up money in an ATM or a cash-out point. The system is accessible 24/7, does not require a bank account and offers the simplicity and freedom of cash as well as all the convenience needed in digital age.

You can visit Billon in Hall 3, Stand C24.
