Our response to the Zaufana Trzecia Strona article

On December 11, the Zaufana Trzecia Strona website published information about the tests of the Billon application, conducted by Tomasz Zieliński. Below is a statement on this matter.

Tomasz Zieliński's tests are a thorough analysis of our technology and the application for direct payments developed on its basis. Below we provide some information that complements the material:

  • Billon application is a part of the pilot project which goal is to test the company's business model.  This is evidenced by the narrow acceptance network, limited to YouTubers, merchants, streamers and selected corporate clients. We are in the process of implementing a new company communication strategy that will highlight the fact above.
  • We are aware of issues listed in the material. Irrespective of the article, a security audit was carried out by SecuRing. The audit report describes errors affecting application's security, including those listed in the article.
  • We would like to emphasize that none of the presented vulnerabilities is critical and does not expose the user to the risk of losing funds.
  • As a result of the audit, we are planning to release the updated application before the end of the year. The update will eliminate the errors noticed in the audit, including those mentioned in the article.
